Family and/or School Mediation

Mediation provides a non-judgmental forum for people in essential relationships to engage in meaningful dialogue.  Sustained meaningful dialogue is essential to establishing positive long- term relationships.  Mediation provides support by uncovering the shared interests necessary to for an enriched connection.  Family and school partnerships include listening to others, being listened to, valuing the family or community system, understanding the developmental stage of child, compassion and compromise.  Family and community are not rigid systems, but rather change with the growth of child and adult.  Mediation is meant to provide a landscape where families can participate in nurturing trust and problem solving now and in the future.
